Risk Assessment (QRA) for Environment Clearance (EC) as per MOEF requirement

We are Ministry Of Environment and Forest (MOEF) approved Risk Assessment consultant for Environment clearance. (EC)

Risk assessment is a step in a risk management procedure. Risk assessment is the determination of quantitative or qualitative value of risk related to a concrete situation and a recognized threat (also called hazard). Quantitative risk assessment requires calculations of two components of risk; the magnitude of the potential loss, and the probability that the loss will occur.

We carry out Risk Assessment for existing as well as proposed units using most prevalent and relevant methodologies that involve the steps of identifying hazards associated with the operations and selecting worst case scenario for consequences estimation. Adopting reputed software models for consequences estimation. We suggest risk reduction measures for effective implementation which is based on effective frequency of occurrence.

HIRA study

Hazard Identification and Risk Analysis (HIRA) is a collective term that encompasses all activities involved in identifying hazards and evaluating risk at facilities, throughout their life cycle, to make certain that risks to employees, the public, or the environment are consistently controlled within the organization’s risk tolerance. These studies typically address three main risk questions to a level of detail commensurate with analysis objectives, life cycle stage, available information, and resources.

The three main risk questions are:

♣  Hazard – What can go wrong?

♣  Consequences – How bad could it be?

♣  Likelihood – How often might it happen?

A HIRA study is typically performed by our team of qualified experts on the process, the materials, and the work activities. Personnel who have formal training on risk analysis methods usually lead these teams, applying the selected analysis technique(s) with subject matter experts from engineering, operations, maintenance, and other disciplines as needed.

HAZOP & PHA

A hazard and operability study (HAZOP) is a structured and systematic examination of a planned or existing process or operation in order to identify and evaluate problems that may represent risks to personnel or equipment, or prevent efficient operation. The HAZOP technique was initially developed to analyze chemical process systems, but has later been extended to other types of systems and also to complex operations and to software systems. A HAZOP is a qualitative technique based on guide-words and is carried out by a multi-disciplinary team (HAZOP team) during a set of meetings.

HAZOP is a team output but has to be properly guided to produce beneficial output through identification of hazards, operability Issues & solutions for the same. We offer the most effective and widely accepted HAZOP study / HAZOP chairman services that are employed across the world.

Safety Audit

Safety Audit as per IS-14489 & F.A & Rule

Third party safety audits are keys in assisting your company to achieve full compliance with applicable safety and health regulations. Whether you are looking to develop an elite safety program or maintain OSHA compliance, or desire new ideas from experienced safety professionals, we can help. We conduct third party safety audits, generate a report that identifies any corrective actions required, and then indicate facility safety solutions based on "Best Practices".

The methodology for the Third Party Safety Audit depends upon the purpose of the audit. Generally, most companies prefer to do the audit as per IS – 14489(1998) which compiles to the legislative requirements viz..9(2) of Rule 68(J) of Gujarat Factories Rules 1963(2004), Para 3 of section 7-A of The Factories Act – 1948 (1987) and Rule 10 (4 to 6) of MSIHC Rules, 1989(2000) under EPA-1986.

Electrical Safety Audit

Electrical safety audit as per Indian standards, Indian Electricity Rules and other relevant codes of Practice & identifying electrical hazards (shocks, fires, etc.)

DMP, On site-Off site Emergency Plan

One of the responsibilities of a facility of manufacturing unit owner and legislative requirement is to have a plan to ensure the safety of your employees, customers, contractors and others who may be on your site when an emergency occurs. Equally important is the ability of your facility/business to react quickly to an emergency, saving you time and money in restoring normal business.

The on-site emergency plan is not just an evacuation or fire safety plan. It is a plan which provides safety and security to your stakeholders from the time of an adverse impact until your business continuity or normal business plan can resume.

(Achievement: Off site Emergency plan of Kutch District is made by us.)

Safety Manual, Safety Report etc.

Safety manuals are essential workplace reference guides, regardless of whether or not you have specialized equipment in your facility that requires training to operate. In industries safety manuals provide workplace health and safety procedures that contain potentially life-saving information. All workers on a site, regardless of their specific positions, should know proper safety procedures inside and out. These health and safety manuals are a key tool in the ongoing battle against workplace accidents and injuries.

Corporate Training

Whereas our training packages are substantial in contents, basic and fundamental in principles and practices, rich in utility and usefulness; the methodologies adopted are simple and straightforward, fun to use, delivered in participants' language, mostly with animation and voice-over; making the entire exercise interest-stimulating, thought-provoking, awareness-arousing and learning-sustaining.

Packages include all the major subjects in construction and operation units on Environment, Health and Safety topics such as but not limited to as given in the list below.

We offer a number of training delivery options including Public Courses, On-site Trainings and Workshops .

We work closely with clients to assess their training needs, develop tailor-made courses and programs and advise on follow up and reinforcement in the workplace. We have developed and delivered in-house programs for a range of corporate private sector clients. Ensuring and measuring the effectiveness of training is kept under our approach. To this end, we provide follow up and mentoring programs to staff to support the effective transfer of knowledge into the workplace.

Our Faculties

Trainers have a responsible task to mould the work-behaviours of the people at work in order to optimize the work-culture to deliver the work-output having right quality and quantum with HSE aspects duly blended in them. This needs to be done by set of qualified, experienced and exposed trainers who have had the actual feel of the work at the place of working. The site-experience gives an added advantage of better appreciation of work methodologies that take care of site-problems being faced by workmen and supervisors.
